IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (133) Cyrene / UCAC4 543-048035 event on 2021 Feb 26, 18:13 UT Visible from China, Europe Summary ------- On 2021 Feb 26 UT, the 71.6 km diameter asteroid (133) Cyrene will occult a 12.4 mag star in the constellation Cancer for observers along a path across China, Europe. In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 0.90 mag to 12.69 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 6.6 seconds. This update is based on UNSO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Hugh Harris, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Bill Owen, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU Minor Planet Center.
