IOTA/IOTA-ES occultation update for (15) Eunomia / TYC 1362-00162-1 event on 2021 Feb 25, 00:46 UT Visible from Africa, Central America Summary ------- On 2021 Feb 25 UT, the 248.3 km diameter asteroid (15) Eunomia will occult a 11.5 mag star in the constellation Gemini for observers along a path across Africa, Central America. In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 0.14 mag to 9.38 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 46.8 seconds. This update is based on UNSO/Flagstaff astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Hugh Harris, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by Bill Owen, astrometry for the asteroid kindly provided by the IAU Minor Planet Center.
